Just finished reading this...I'd like to know your thoughts on whether or not Sunday School makes a positive contribution to the local church, and what role (or lack of a role) you see SS playing in churches 25-50 years from now.

If, by Sunday School, you mean God's people meeting together to get to know each other, dig deep into God's Word, and pray for each other, I'm all about it!
If, by Sunday School, you mean people lazily meandering into a room 15 mins late to eat donuts and drink coffee followed by a a few minutes of a "teacher" reading from the LifeWay curriculum, I think Sunday School should die.
In other words, its all about how it is done and what it accomplishes.
